The first samples

Nov 04, 2020

Unfortunately, due to the COVID travel restrictions, I have not been able to go to Switzerland to see my manufacturer over the last month.

We therefore work with Zoom conferences and yesterday the first sample was finally lying on the table!

This sample serves to judge the construction, the volumes and appreciate the finishings. As you can see the crown, hands and crystal are still missing. Also the turing bezel locking mechanism, and the screws fixing the dial and luminous are also not yet there.

What we can see is the “naked” stainless steel dial (machined and vertically brushed) and the beautiful “raw” tool watch effect of an all 100% recycled stainless steel watch. The naturally tanned strap is final as you see it here.

I really like the “raw” effect which completely corresponds to my concept and my understanding of the watch. The aesthetic effect is given by the all metal look and I think that the watch is also full of charm because of that.

Please note this is not the final watch and design. This will follow the creative phase which will involve the community and in which will fine-tune the essential elements.

I hope that you like this first sample as much as I do !

Apologies for the quality of the pictures which are also just working pictures.
