Our titanium collection is made with titanium grade 5, also known as Ti-6Al-4V: 90% titanium, 6% aluminium, 4% vanadium. It's stronger and more scratch-resistant than the grade 2 commonly used in watchmaking. Harder to machine, harder to finish, which means longer production time and more expensive tools. But for watches, it's worth it: extremely light, biocompatible, antimagnetic, corrosion-resistant, and non-toxic.
Here's what matters to us: every case, dial, and buckle in our CB-01 Ti collection is made from 100% repurposed titanium grade 5 made from leftovers of our factory production. With our partners, we developed specific machining processes to transform what was destined for the bin into watch components. It's a circular approach. Because the most sustainable material is the one that's already here.
The electricity used in our factory is 100% produced from renewable sources and it’s certified by NATUREMADE.
